Although built in the 16th-centuary Billesley Manor, updated in 2021, ensures all of our needs are catered for.
Our Stafford Classical Guitar courses are purposely held over a weekend, Friday 6pm through to Sunday 3pm, to give the feel of a short holiday break and to allow time for you to be totally immersed in a World of Classical Guitar.
20221 will be our 25th year and we hope you will enjoy your time with us as much as we enjoy encouraging you with the enjoyment of playing your guitar. The number of available places for each course is 13, no not unlucky for some but very lucky for you as this means, with 2 teachers there’s plenty of attention for all and time to enjoy every aspect of the weekend.
The content of each weekend is delivered by Selina and I (Adrian) and is aimed at helping you to improve as a musician whether you are a student of the guitar in the early stages of learning or an advanced player looking for performance/exam help.
Each course has a theme relevant to an aspect of music/guitar and is presented in a fun and enjoyable way. Course members bring with them aspects of their own playing which they wish to improve upon and Selina and I are more than happy to cover these, all we ask is you let us know when applying. This beautiful 16th-centuary Elizabethan manor is 3.8 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon Parkway train station making it very easy for those that wish to arrive by train.
Although built in the 16th-Centuary Billesley Manor has been updated for modern living so that all your needs are catered for.
The Manor house, as you will have noticed, is a hotel which at times could be busy however the staff at Billesley have located our course in a converted barn which caters for all our needs except for meals and after hours socialising (bar) both of these are just a short walk away and within the Manor house – nice excuse for a little exercise.
If you have a partner who would like to accompany you and enjoy the facilities at Billesley Manor and the surrounding area this can be accommodated, just ask Selina or myself for details.
